A website for your trade that captures quotes and emergencies
When someone's pipe bursts, their power goes out or they want to renovate the bathroom, they open their phone and search for «plumber near me», «emergency electrician» or «renovation company» in their area. A good tradesperson's website does three things: it puts you in front of whoever is searching right now, it makes your service area and how to request a quote crystal clear, and it proves with completed work that you know what you're doing. It works just as well for electricians, plumbers, renovations, painters or locksmiths. We build it for you for free and stay with you every month. What we'll never do: promise you customers.
Why does an electrician, plumber or renovator need their own website?
Your work almost always comes from an emergency or from a project people have been putting off. In both cases, the first thing the customer does is grab their phone and search. If your day is full and you don't answer the phone, that person is already looking at the next name on the list. And if you don't show up, you simply don't exist for them. Your own website is what puts you in front of them at the exact moment someone needs you.
Plenty of tradespeople get by on word of mouth and a profile on a quote-request platform. Word of mouth is gold, but it doesn't scale and it doesn't cover you when the neighbour who recommends you isn't around. And the platforms have a problem: there you're just one more competing on price, and many charge for every contact even if that job never closes. Your own website is the only place where you control the message, show your work and receive quote requests directly, without paying per lead.
What's more, the competition in search for these trades is usually low: many electricians and plumbers don't even have a decent website. That means with a fast, clear, well-structured website it's easier to stand out in your area than in saturated sectors. We do that work alongside local SEO on Google Maps.
How does the website get you found in «electrician near me»?
Searches for trades are almost always local and urgent. Nobody searches for «the best plumber in Spain»; they search for «plumber in [their neighbourhood]» or «bathroom renovation [their city]» with the problem already on them. When someone searches like this, Google and AI try to show nearby businesses that are quick to contact and have consistent data. A well-built website gives them exactly those signals:
- Your area, written out and clear. The towns and neighbourhoods where you work, so it matches when someone searches with the name of their town or district.
- Each trade or service, in its place. Call-outs, repairs, installations, full renovations, 24 h emergencies… each one explained so the customer and the search engines see what you do.
- Instant contact. Phone and WhatsApp one tap away, because in an emergency the one who answers first wins, not the cheapest.
- Identical data on the website and Google Business Profile. Name, phone and area the same everywhere, which is what helps most to show up on the map.
It's not magic or a trick: it's organising the information you already have so the machine understands it the first time. We do the work that makes it more likely you'll show up; we can't guarantee the top spot, and be wary of anyone who promises it.
Your website vs. a quote-request platform: where's the difference?
It's the most common question: «isn't being on a quote app enough for me?». They can coexist, but they're not the same. The difference is whose customer it is, how much each contact costs you and whether you compete on price or on trust.
| Quote-request platform | Your own website (Zenith) | |
|---|---|---|
| How you appear | One more on a list, competing on price | Your brand, your area and your work, no noise |
| Who owns the contact | The platform's: the quote goes through it | Yours: the quote lands straight on your phone |
| Cost per contact | Many charge for every lead, closed or not | No cost per contact: the ones who come in are yours |
| Emergencies | You compete with everyone at once for the same breakdown | Your phone and WhatsApp direct, you answer |
| Ranking in AI | The platform takes the visibility, not you | Your website ready so AI can cite you |
We're not saying the platforms are useless; for some professionals they bring volume at the start. What we're saying is that having your own website, where the quote requests are yours and you don't pay per contact, is the foundation worth looking after. The platforms, if you like, as an add-on.
What does Zenith's website for trades and crafts include?
This is what we build, no smoke and mirrors. Each piece is designed so that whoever has a breakdown or a project understands you can help them and asks you for a quote, whether it's three in the afternoon or midnight.
- Clear quote capture. A simple form where the customer describes the job and leaves their contact details, plus phone and WhatsApp one tap away. The quote request reaches you directly, with no middlemen.
- Emergency block. If you offer 24 h call-outs or fast responses, we make it clearly visible, because with a leak or a power cut the one who answers first wins.
- Your service area. The towns and neighbourhoods you cover, written clearly, so it matches how people search and so you don't get calls from the other end of the province.
- Your services, one by one. Each trade or type of job —installations, repairs, renovations, painting, locksmithing…— with its explanation, so the customer and the search engines know what you do.
- Completed work. A gallery of before-and-afters or finished jobs. In these trades, seeing work well done convinces more than a thousand words.
- A genuinely fast website. On Cloudflare, it loads instantly on mobile, which is where people look for you in the middle of an emergency. Whoever has a leak won't wait for it to load.
- Google Business Profile and consistent data. Phone, area and hours identical on the website and the profile, with structured data so Google and AI understand you the first time.
- Ready for AI. Information organised and extractable so that, when someone asks an AI for an electrician or plumber in their area, your business can be among those cited. We explain it in local SEO on Google Maps.
How much does it cost? The Zenith model
Here's what sets us apart: building your website is free. You pay nothing to have it created; we do it up front. What you pay is a tailored monthly fee for ongoing support, which already includes the domain, the SSL and everything technical —not charged separately— plus the continuous work of ranking on Google and in AI (ChatGPT, Gemini).
That fee has an honest minimum of a few months (around three), because ranking is gradual and it makes no sense to measure it in two weeks. Depending on the case, the first few months may be paid in advance; we tell you clearly before we start, no fine print. You'll find the pricing details on our pricing page.
What we will NOT promise you
In trades where a single job can be worth a lot of money, it's worth saying this in writing, because hardly anyone does:
- We don't guarantee a number of customers or quote requests, nor coming out first on Google, nor that AI will cite you. We do the work that makes it more likely, not miracles.
- We don't sell «you only pay if it works» or «payment by results». Whether people call you depends on your area, your reputation, your availability and many things beyond a website.
- We don't promise you'll bill more. We give you a solid tool and the work to get you found; closing the quote and doing the job well is still down to you.
What we do give you is the work: your own website, fast and clear, that captures quote requests, handles your emergencies and shows what you can do, plus the monthly ranking support, showing you each month what we've done. This page is part of our websites for local businesses; trades and crafts are among the cases where a good website shows results fastest.
