A website for your gym with class booking and an up-to-date timetable
A gym website done the way it should be has three things: online class booking or appointment that is yours (it comes in directly to your system, with no booking commission like some discount apps charge), a clear schedule of timetables and your pricing so no one has to call to ask, and being found on Google and in AI (ChatGPT, Gemini) when someone searches for «a gym near me». We build it for you for free and we stay on to rank it every month. We don't promise to fill you up with members: we do the work and we show it to you.
Why does a gym or sports centre need its own website today?
Almost every gym, fitness centre, yoga studio or sports club has Instagram, a half-finished Google Business Profile and, at most, a listing on some discount app. It seems like enough, but it leaves a big gap: when someone decides to sign up this week, they want to see the class timetable, check the pricing and be able to book or sign up without having to call. If all of that lives scattered across other people's platforms, every step is a chance to lose the future member… or to pay a commission for them.
Your website is the only place that is truly yours: the class schedule always up to date, the pricing with no fine print, the gallery of your facilities and the booking button that comes straight into your system, plus the data that Google and AI read to recommend you. It doesn't depend on a social network's algorithm or on the rules of an app that raises its commission tomorrow.
And it connects with how people search now. Someone who wants to train types «a gym near me open on Sundays» or asks an AI directly «where can I do yoga classes around here?». To show up in those answers you need a fast, well-prepared website, not just an Instagram profile. We do that work alongside local SEO on Google Maps.
Your own bookings vs. discount apps: where's the difference?
It's the most common question: «isn't it enough just to be on a pass or discount app?». They can coexist, but they're not the same thing. The difference isn't the design: it's whose member it is and who keeps the margin.
| Discount or pass app | Booking on your own website (Zenith) | |
|---|---|---|
| Commission | Usually charges a commission or keeps part of the fee | No per-booking commission: it comes straight into your system |
| Whose member it is | The app's: their data lives on its platform | Yours: the contact comes into your system |
| Who controls the offer | The app pushes discounts to stand out | You decide the pricing, classes and capacity |
| Where your brand appears | Mixed in with the competition in the listing | Your website, your name, your classes, your photos |
| What happens as your volume grows | More bookings = more commission you pay | More bookings = the same cost for your website |
We're not saying the apps are useless: they give visibility and they suit some centres. What we are saying is that having your own booking channel, commission-free, is always a foundation worth controlling. The ideal is usually to have your own first and use the apps, if you want, as an add-on.
What does Zenith's website for gyms include?
This is what we build, no fluff. Every piece is designed so that someone who already wants to train ends up signing up in as few steps as possible.
- Your own online class booking or appointment. A form (date, time, class or activity, contact details) that comes straight into your system, with no booking commission. The booking is yours from the very first moment.
- Schedule of timetables and classes. Your weekly grid (spinning, functional training, yoga, pilates, the gym floor…) on a clear, fast page that's easy to update when you change the timetable or add an activity.
- Clear pricing, no fine print. Fees, passes and joining costs explained so the visitor knows what they're paying before setting foot in the centre. Transparency wins more people than mystery.
- Gallery of your facilities. Photos of the floor, the machines and the spaces, well optimised so they look cared for without slowing the load. People want to see where they're going to train.
- A genuinely fast website. On Cloudflare, loading instantly on mobile —which is where people look at you—. Anyone who waits for it to load goes to the competition.
- Linked Google Business Profile and consistent data. Opening hours, address and phone identical on the website and the profile, with structured data so Google and AI understand you straight away.
- Ready for AI. Information that's organised and easy to extract so that, when someone asks an AI for a gym or studio in their area, your centre can be among the ones it cites. We work on this alongside local SEO on Google Maps.
How much does it cost? The Zenith model
Here's what sets us apart: building your website is free. You pay nothing to create it; we do it up front. What you pay is a tailored monthly fee for support, which already includes the domain, the SSL and everything technical —it's not charged separately— plus the ongoing work of ranking on Google and in AI.
That fee has an honest minimum of a few months (around three), because ranking is gradual and there's no sense in measuring it over two weeks. Depending on the case, the first few months may be paid up front; we tell you clearly before we start, with no fine print. The pricing details are on our pricing page.
What we will NOT promise you
For the sake of honesty, we put it in writing, because almost no one in the industry does:
- We don't promise to fill your gym with members or a number of sign-ups. That depends on your facilities, your service, your prices, your area and a thousand things we don't control.
- We don't guarantee showing up first on Google or being cited by AI. We do the work that makes it more likely, not miracles.
- We don't sell «you only pay if it works» or «pay per result»: that would be dishonest.
What we do give you is the work: your own website, fast and with bookings that are yours, clear timetables and pricing, plus the monthly ranking support, showing you each month what we've done. This page is part of our websites for local businesses; the gym is one of the cases where having your own booking makes the biggest difference.
What gyms ask us
Do class bookings really come with no commission?
Can I keep using a pass or discount app at the same time?
Can I change the class timetable or the pricing whenever I want?
Does it also work for a yoga or pilates studio or a sports club?
Do you guarantee my gym will fill up with members?
Google reviews and Business Profile: what moves a gym most on the map
When someone searches for «a gym near me», the first thing they see isn't your website: it's Google's map block with three or four centres, their stars and their review count. That's why, on top of the website, your Google Business Profile (the old Google My Business) and your reviews carry a lot of weight when it comes to being chosen. A great website with a neglected profile is like having a spotless gym with a broken sign out on the street.
The work here has two legs. The first is consistency: that the name, address, phone and opening hours are identical on your website and on your profile (what local SEO calls NAP), because when Google sees data that contradicts itself, it distrusts you and pushes you down on the map. The second is reviews: having a simple system to ask happy members for them, for example a sign or a QR code at reception that goes straight to leaving a rating, without anyone having to search for anything.
A note on honesty and on the law: reviews have to be real, from people who have genuinely trained with you. Buying or making up reviews is prohibited in Spain (Law 10/2025 on consumer protection penalises it explicitly) and Google detects and removes them. We help you set up the system so asking for them is easy and consistent; the content of each review is written by your member, not by us.
A free trial class or session: how to turn the curious into members from the website
Almost no one joins a gym blind: first they want to come and try it. That's why offering a trial session or class from the website is a very natural way to attract people in this sector, and it complements class booking. Instead of the person having to message you on Instagram and wait for a reply, they leave their details on a clear form and you already have an interested contact to talk to.
We set it up as a step designed to lose no one along the way: few fields (name, phone, which activity they're interested in and when suits them), and the notification reaches you instantly so you can reply quickly, which is when it's easiest to lock in the visit. That contact comes straight into your system and is yours, just like the class bookings: no intermediaries and no commission.
The free trial and class booking don't compete, they complement each other. The booking is for someone who's already a member and wants to sign up for Tuesday's session; the trial is for someone who doesn't know you yet and needs a first nudge. Having both on the website covers the two decision moments without you having to improvise in private messages.
«A gym near me»: why you show up (or don't) depending on the neighbourhood
Gym searches are among the most local there are, and Google knows it: for «a gym near me» or «pilates classes in [your neighbourhood]» it shows different results depending on where each person is. Ranking well is, above all, ranking well in your specific area, not across the whole city equally.
That's worked on so that the website and the profile make it clear to Google which area you serve: the neighbourhood or neighbourhoods your members come from, the nearby towns or districts, the landmarks. It's not about repeating the city name twenty times (that, besides being useless, is penalised), but about the information on where you are and who you serve being clear, honest and consistent.
It's gradual work, not instant: ranking locally takes weeks or months and also depends on your reviews, on how many centres compete in your area and on how active your profile is. We don't promise a specific spot on the map. What we do is prepare the website and the data so you have every chance of showing up when someone in your neighbourhood searches for where to train, and show you month by month how it's evolving.
